Red Flag Guidelines and Address Discrepancies are the two areas recently adopted by the bank regulatory agencies which implement Sections 114 and 315 of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act (FACT Act). The joint rules and guidelines became effective on January 1, 2008. Mandatory compliance with the rules is November 1, 2008.
